Boar’s Head Inn Wedding

I have fond memories of the Boar’s Head from childhood and think that it is equal parts romantic and wonderful. This wedding shot by Meg Runion fits both of these adjectives…so happy…enjoy!

Firnew Farm Wedding

Today’s adorable Real Wedding took place just down the road from Charlottesville in Hood, Virginia at a lovely private home.  And, even with all of the beautiful venues in Charlottesville, sometimes there is nothing like home, sweet, home!

Per usual, photographer Meg Runion, captured the beautiful day with her eye for emotion and detail. (Also, check out her new Etsy site – love!). Katie and Zach were surrounded by friends and family with incredible fall weather and colors! Enjoy the eye candy today!

Chalkboard Table Number

While wedding table numbers are informational, they can also be a design element…Last spring, I used chalkboards at each table which was a rustic, inexpensive and eco-friendly option.

To achieve this look on your own, you can head to Michaels or check out Etsy.

Next time, I would love to paint the wood edge – maybe in a happy yellow or bright coral – so fun!

Panorama Farms Open House

Last week, I shared a sneak peek of the incredible Panorama Farms and A. Dominick Events Open House…Today, I am thrilled to bring you more fab photos by Meg Runion Studios and all the details of the day!

The ridiculously amazing setting paired with the G-O-R-G-E-O-U-S  weather along with the all-star vendor team made for a fantastic event.

The creative geniuses at Beehive Events set this beautiful mock ceremony on top of a hill, with Panorama views of the mountains.

Of course, the venue decor by Beehive wasn’t too shabby either…

Guests dined on fabulous treats from Harvest Moon Catering. YUM!  Oh – and the super cool rentals – all from Festive Fare!

The Jangling Reinharts from Sam Hill Entertainment were perfect – they totally set the mood!

Yes, I am a little more than slightly obsessed with the Sperry Tent by Skyline Tent Company…Under the tent out back we lounged and roasted s’mores.

The Boar’s Head Balloon rides offered guests the perfect end to the afternoon…I wish we could go back and do it all over again!!

King Family Vineyard and Beehive Events

During the crazy snow storm last February, over Valentine’s Day weekend, King Family VineyardsBeehive Events and Photographer Meg Runion teamed up to create a mock wedding on the property. Since the pictures arrived in my inbox, I cannot stop ooo-ing and ahh-ing over the magnificent details.

Although the models, Suzi and Kyle have been married for almost 7 years, they look so in love — could it be the magic of this incredible setting and thoughtful decor?  Despite the chilly weather, Suzi’s bouquet looks so fresh and succulent.

Succulent Settings

It is important for many brides to be considerate of the environment at their wedding. Beehive Events can help grant brides this wish – as they place beautiful, live succulent plants on the tables. At Charlottesville Weddings, I am loving this idea as “rental” centerpieces or favors…
